Wendy collaborated with Christchurch City Council heritage planners and WSP built heritage specialists to prepare a Conservation Management Plan for Cathedral Square.

The Plan outlines the key elements that make the Square a principal urban design feature of Christchurch for over a century and provides design direction, identifying how heritage can be celebrated and woven sensitively with the Ngāi Tahu narrative through both Concept and Developed Design.

The Plan contains robust heritage protection policies for Cathedral Square, to inform and support future design development.
